Unfortunately, LCIS will not be able sponsor summer meals for our families over the summer – but we are committed to making sure none of our students or their families go hungry this summer!  If you are interested in finding another summer meal sponsor in our area, here are some great resources:

USDA

• Text “summer meals” (or “verano” for Spanish) to 914-342-7744 and receive an automated response to resources located near an address and/or zip code.
• Call the USDA National Hunger Hotline at 1-866-3-HUNGRY (or 1-877-8-HAMBRE for Spanish) to speak with a representative who will find food resources such as meal sites, food banks, and other nearby social services.

No Kid Hungry

• Text “Food” (or “COMIDA” for Spanish) to 304-304
• Visit NoKidHungry.org/help to find free meals in our neighborhood.
